Part of the Bellrock Group – Concerto is a software company which provides Asset, Facilities and Project management software to both the public and private sector in the UK and beyond. Due to the continued growth in our client base, and interest in our product, Concerto has a vacancy for an additional Business Development Manager who will be vital in accelerating the growth of our business.

The Concerto platform is a recognised brand that helps organisations transform and streamline their asset and property management information and associated business processes.

Key purpose:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new business and cross-selling across the group as well as developing and expanding the Client base for Concerto Integrated Software Solutions.

Working within an established team based at the offices in Frodsham, Cheshire, The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of Business development You will be capable of being the subject matter expert and be able to articulate at all levels. You will have experience of working in the IT, Software and hosting sectors and will have strong sales experience and knowledge of consultancy and Cloud Technology. Having knowledge of asset / property management systems would be highly advantageous but not essential.

Our clients and prospects are based nationally and occasionally internationally, therefore the successful applicant will be required to work away from home on a regular basis as well as travel to both offices (Cheshire & Leicester) for team meetings.

Compentencies, Core qualities and attributes:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software solution and consultative based sales.
  • Understanding of Cloud Technology, IT, Hosting.
  • Ability to absorb New Product / Service Knowledge.
  • Have the ability to operate at various levels.
  • Degree level education in scientific field desirable.
  • Target Driven with the ability to achieve targets.
  • Full Clean Driving Licence / Own Vehicle.
  • Candidates must be prepared to work away from home (up to 1-2 nights per week).
  • Strong relationship building and client presentation/sales pitch skills .
