Key Accountabilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Bellrock FM Services, we are recruiting for an Account Manager to join Managed Accounts team, based at head office, to look after one of the contracts.  The successful candidate will own the P&L balance sheet and implement the business plan for the contract. The role will be to manage growth and Lean operations of the contract and be responsible for the H&S on the contract by driving excellence and championing continuous improvement. By building strong relationships with the client and ensuring all communications with the client as well maintained. Typically, responsible for managing a self-delivery model / principle contractor relationship with revenues up to £5 million or managing agent fees / supply chain of an equivalent value.


  • Develop and shape the contract business plan / account plan in line with company strategy and working closely with the OD and contract team
  • Deliver / improve upon agreed margins and cash flows
  • Manage a contract P&L and balance sheet with the responsibility of reporting monthly performance KPI’s converting budgeted margins to cash and values.
  • Lead, review and challenge contract budgets and forecasts to ensure consistent challenging but deliverable approach adopted
  • Manage the overall contract performance (outputs) with regular client reviews to inform performance and shape account plan
  • Contribute to the bidding process
  • Ensure and improve the delivery of service excellence across the account through maximising efficiency and effectiveness, actively sharing best practice across the contract and seeking opportunities for profit improvement and profitable organic growth
  • Ensure efficient management of the contracts resources, employees, fleet, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensure that business imperatives are clearly communicated and understood throughout the contract and to others as appropriate
  • Responsible for specific client relationship and stakeholder management with regular reviews of the contract performance and active management issues
  • Support and implement a culture of customer centricity – align value drivers
  • Play a key role in business development across contracts and within the wider company as requested
  • Lead a small team to deliver the contract agenda

Competencies, Core Qualities and Attributes

  • Ideally educated to degree standard preferably within an engineering discipline
  • BIFM Level 5 qualified or similar
  • Can deliver tangible fanatical performance (P&L and Balance Sheet) showing good business acumen within a contract
  • Has experience managing a small P&L (c. £2m)
  • Supported larger P&L (c.£10m+)
  • Delivered against business plan / objectives – including holding responsibility for the management of resources
  • Has a clear understanding of the industry / FM Market
  • Has experience with Self Delivery and PC contracts

In return Bellrock are offering a competitive salary. Working hours are Monday – Friday based on 37.5 hours per week and 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays.
