We’re thrilled to announce that initiatives we work on with our clients Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) and FM partners have been shortlisted in categories for both the IWFM Impact Awards and the PFM Awards 2024.
The IWFM Impact Awards champion and recognise workplace and facilities management excellence whilst the PFM Awards advocate and reward exceptional partnerships between clients and their FM service providers.
We have great partnerships with our clients and always welcome opportunities to share our stories, so we were delighted to join forces and enter the awards as a collaborative submission with our client LGIM and their partners.
For both award programmes we are finalists in the Wellbeing award categories for a Hidden Workers programme. For our Symphony Model process for Facilities Management, we are finalists in the Collaboration category at the IWFM Awards and the Partners in Technology Development category at the PFM Awards. We are also finalists in an additional category in the PFM Awards – Partners in Security.
About the projects
Wellbeing award: The Hidden Workers initiative is about supporting security, maintenance, and cleaning staff who keep buildings and businesses running, but who are often employed by specialist third parties, without the same benefits as a building’s other employees.
Inspired by staff voices, LGIM and their partners Churchill Group and Regular Cleaning, are closing that gap, reducing health inequalities across their investor portfolio. Staff involved in the initiative are getting benefits like sick pay from day one, death in service, and virtual healthcare access including GP appointments.
Collaboration award (IWFM) and Partners in Technology Development (PFM): The Symphony Model process is a multi-layered, collaborative management model. Symphony connects partners and suppliers, across our entire value chain. It looks to empower facilities management and maintenance teams to share and integrate their data, for more sustainable places, optimised energy usage, and cleaner air.
Partners in Security Award: A successful partnership between Kings Secure Technologies, Bellrock and LGIM has been recognised in the shortlist for this PFM award category. The partnership brings enhanced, innovative and sustainable security provision to the Legal & General investment portfolio, delivering improved colleague safety, alongside a significant cost saving and positive impacts for the environment.
Being recognised by two prestigious FM industry award programmes is testament to the relentless efforts and collaboration of the whole team and our FM partners.
”Being finalists for three projects across these respected award schemes is a fantastic achievement. We’re extremely proud to have suppliers and partners who champion collaborative working and who are as committed as we are to the wellbeing of all of our people. Our positive partnerships are fundamental to the running of our buildings and in supporting the people who work in them.
Mark Tyson, Head of Asset Services for LGIM
”We’re delighted to have been chosen as finalists for these categories in the IWFM Impact Awards and the PFM Awards collectively with our clients LGIM and their other strategic partners. The projects submitted for each category demonstrate the strength of our partnership and validate our approach to collaborative working to achieve the best outcomes for our colleagues and the communities we serve.
