As part of our continued growth, the opportunity has arisen for the Contract Manager based in Luton. The Contract Manager responsible for managing service delivery across both hard and soft services within a Rail logistics environment. Reporting to the Strategic Account Director, ensure that all contractual obligations are met including owning the P&L balance sheet.  The role will involve supporting the client in meeting their compliance targets and supporting them across all aspects their Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability performance by driving excellence and championing continuous improvement through the resident on site engineering team and associated supply chain partners.  Building strong client relationships, always ensuring effective communication, high quality of service and client satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop a Strategic Contract Plan and ensure that the contractual obligations are successfully delivered.
  • Build strong client relationships built on trust to enable a true partnership.
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support the successful delivery of the Contract.
  • Lead by example and support and develop team members.
  • Manage the Contract budget, highlighting any issues or opportunities that may arise & ensure budgets are met
  • Manage the overall Contract performance (outputs) by conducting regular client reviews to inform performance and shape the Strategic Account Plan.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reporting on performance against KPI’s and client specific data as required.
  • Identify any supply chain performance issues, address, and rectify as required.
  • Ensure and improve the delivery of service excellence across the Account through maximising efficient and effective working practices and actively sharing best practice.
  • Develop a high performing engineering team culture with safety at its core, monitor and support training & service delivery requirements of the on site engineering team ensuring the estate remains a compliant and safe environment at all times
  • Complete and manage duty holder matrices in line with statutory requirements confirming appointments of all respective roles

Qualifications / Training Required:

  • Facilities Management qualification or relevant training
  • IT literate, particularly Excel – including data manipulation

Experience Required:

  • PC Contract Management
  • Management of client relationships
  • Stakeholder and people management
  • Worked in a customer facing environment
  • Worked in a Facilities Management environment and understands the industry/FM market
  • Budgetary Management
  • Development and realisation of cost saving initiatives
  • Management of/communication with Supply Chain partners
  • Data management, analysis, and reporting
  • Adherence to processes and procedures
  • Commercial Contract awareness and understanding
  • Technical understanding
  • Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability awareness

In return Bellrock are offering a competitive salary. Working hours are Monday – Friday based on 37.5 hours per week and 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays.
