As part of our continued growth, the opportunity has arisen for the Junior General Maintenance Engineer based in Leamington Spa. We are currently looking for a permanent Junior General Maintenance Engineer for electrical, plumbing, and general building tasks. The work will be working within the justice centres in Warwickshire (due to this you will need to be willing to undertake a full Police background check).

Key Accountabilities:

  • To undertake all tasks in line with H&S Guidelines and legislation.
  • To ensure that PPM’s are carried out on time and in line with the agreed schedule and to ensure a quick response to the reactive problems communicated via the helpdesk.
  • Carryout remedial repairs and minor installation work.
  • Comply with customer policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
  • To carry out reactive maintenance tasks when required

Competencies:

Essential

  • Plumbing experience (maintenance) – Minimum NVQ Level 2
  • A formal electrical qualification
  • Some experience of basic electrical maintenance, e.g. relamping, ballast changing.
  • Must have previous working experience in a maintenance environment.
  • Have self-motivation and ability to manage time and priorities well.
  • Be able to partake in the out of hours on-call rota
  • PC literate, use of Microsoft Word and Excel

Advantageous

  • Operational knowledge of BMS.
  • Knowledge of 18th edition wiring regulations
  • Operational experience in the use of a CAFM system
In return Bellrock are offering a competitive salary. Working hours are Monday – Friday based on 37.5 hours per week and 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays.
