Location: Leamington Spa
Reporting to: Facilities Manager
As part of our continued growth, the opportunity has arisen for the Maintenance Technician based in Leamington Spa. The purpose of this role is to provide electrical maintenance support at Nuneaton & Leamington Spa Justice Centres.
Key Accountabilities:
- To undertake all tasks in line with H&S Guidelines and legislation.
- To ensure that PPM’s are carried out on time and in line with the agreed schedule and to ensure a quick response to the reactive problems communicated via the helpdesk.
- Carryout remedial electrical repairs and minor installation work.
- Comply with Bellrock and customer policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
- To carry out reactive electrical maintenance when required.
- Assistance with non-electrical and general maintenance tasks as required.
- To liaise with Technical Services Supervisor and other Bellrock staff to ensure Bellrock standards are maintained.
- Liaise closely with the Helpdesk Administrator & Client Staff.
- To complete relevant administration tasks for the helpdesk and contract function.
- To provide out of office support when required.
- To coordinate and escort subcontractors when required.
- Rearrange courtrooms when required.
Competencies:
- 5 years post apprenticeship working experience.
- City & Guilds 2360 parts 1 & 2 in electrical installation.
- City & Guilds 2391, certification in Inspection and Testing.
- Knowledge of 18th edition wiring regulations.
- Basic plumbing – Minimum NVQ Level 2
- Must have previous working experience in a maintenance environment.
- IOSH level of Health & Safety knowledge (preferable)
- Operational knowledge of BMS, HVAC systems.
- Have self motivation and ability to manage time and priorities well.
- Be able to partake in the out of hours on-call rota.
- PC literate, use of Microsoft work and Excel.
- Operational experience in the use of a CAFM system.
