As part of our continued growth, the opportunity has arisen for a quantity surveyor based in either Leicester or Sheffield. To provide support and guidance to Clients and Suppliers regarding Quoted works, preparing reports to highlight savings, efficiencies, quality of workmanship, adherence to specifications and value for money-ensuring this cost saving targets are met and communicated effectively to the Client and Senior Management.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that we meet our contractual obligations and deliver the contract agenda
  • Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders and be responsive to their requests for help and support
  • Ensure that we are working within agreed margins and terms
  • Deliver savings targets
  • Ensure that any client complaints regarding service delivery are managed and escalated to the Account Manager in a timely manner with corrective actions closed out quickly
  • Work with the Reporting Team to develop and shape standardisation of reporting formats
  • Compile and gather the necessary data and information required for monthly reports
  • Create reports demonstrating Suppliers performance against Quote KPI’s
  • Conduct site visits pre and post works for validation & reporting if required
  • Ensure we promote a culture of compliance and escalate issues and areas of concern
  • Promote the ‘Bellrock’ culture within the business

Quantity Surveyor Specific Requirements:

  • Drive efficiencies and cost savings
  • Monitoring of email inbox
  • Chasing of overdue or critical quotations
  • Review of suppliers submitted quotations
  • Initial analysis of quotes, including materials, equipment, rates, scope of works
  • Utilise Technical support where required for more detailed analysis
  • Post works invoice auditing
  • Instil a best practice culture within the supply chain
  • Rate card review & Benchmarking
  • Maintaining up to date savings tracking information
  • Provide scheduled MI reports including ad-hoc reports when required to client
  • Any other reasonable tasks as required


Qualifications/Training Required:


  • QS qualification
  • Commercial Contract awareness
  • Technical capability
  • Health & Safety awareness
  • IT literate particularly Excel – to include pivot tables and data manipulation


  • Facilities Management qualification or training in Facilities Management

Experience Required:


  • Quantity Surveying activity
  • Data management and analysis

In return Bellrock are offering a competitive salary. Working hours are Monday – Friday based on 40 hours per week and 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays.
