The opportunity has arisen for Security Officer – Night Shift to join our onsite team based in Havant. The key purpose of the role is to maintain a high-profile security presence to achieve the protection of the complex, goods and property, staff and visitors from injury, loss, damage, or wastage due to criminal activity, accident, fire, flood or any other hazard.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry, lock up gates.
  • Control traffic by directing drivers if needed
  • To maintain a high standard of access control for staff and their Visitors.
  • To monitor and respond to any emergency information and / or systems installed.
  • To advise and assist on matters of security or Health and Safety.
  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
  • Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.
  • Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
  • Respond to emergency situations to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers.
  • Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, patrolling premises regularly, traffic control, and accident investigations.
  • Report suspicious activity, criminal behaviour, and security breaches
  • Maintain Daily Occurrence Logs and daily handovers.

In return Bellrock are offering a salary of £17,680. Working hours are Friday to Saturday 7 pm to 7am and Sunday 7pm to 5am based on 34 hours per week and 20 days holiday per year + bank holidays.
