Gurpal Virdee

Managing Director of Technical & Real Estate

Gurpal joined John Rowan and Partners in 2004 as a chartered building surveyor. Having spent many years working with local authorities and blue-chip clients, he understands the pressures of delivering to meet challenging requirements. Gurpal was elected to managing partner in 2017 and now heads up Bellrock’s Technical and Real Estate Division.

Andrew is a leading service charge expert with over 35 years’ experience, specialising in property and construction disputes and matters relating to landlord and tenant relationships. He has acted as an expert witness on numerous occasions and was a quantum expert in a multi-million High Court case in 2017. Andrew was instrumental in the launch of the highly regarded annual SCOR report which benchmarks commercial property service charge costs and management practice.

Russell Heath is a Chartered Surveyor who, for the last 15 years, has specialised in commercial service charge management. Russell is an acknowledged expert in the service charge field, with long-standing blue-chip clients in the retail and leisure sectors. He provides occupiers with comprehensive service charge management advice, focused on a commercial return. Russell has been actively involved in the RICS professional statement – Service charges in commercial property, and also speaks regularly at RICS CPD seminars.

Business Development Director - Property

Prior to joining Bellrock in 2013 Nigel completed an MBA at the University of Bath and before that was in Education in the Middle East. He has worked with the Real Estate part of Bellrock for 6 years and has been responsible for Business Development, Marketing and Research for much of that time. Nigel contacts, meets with and discusses Bellrock’s services with prospective clients before handing over to the various Operations teams. He also oversees the Research branch of the work including the publication of two annual service charge benchmarking publications covering the Office and Retail sector.
